Every chunk is encrypted before it leaves.

Pairing happens once, over a QR ceremony bound to the two devices. The handshake carries the request and nothing else.

Interrupted

It resumes at the exact byte it stopped on.

Chunks are checkpointed as they land. Close the lid, lose the network, come back — it picks up from the last verified position, not the last whole file.

On arrival

Nothing is written until the receiver says yes.

Incoming bytes are held in quarantine, hashed, then saved whole in a single atomic step. It reports done only once the file on disk has been reopened and rehashed.
